The Woodlands art collection is a limited series of photographs of forests and trees made by fine art photographer Christophe Van Biesen. Each artwork in this series has a standard size of 75x50cm and is framed with a 15mm floating frame in various essences of wood, depending on the individual colours of each image. Each photo in the Woodlands series is only printed a total of 5 times.
This collection features various woodlands scenes in some of the artist’s favourite images made over the past several years. Some images are made locally, while others were made during the photographer’s trips. Each image attempts to convey a different mood through the changing atmosphere captured. Lone trees, lush forests, colourful foliage or frozen woodlands are among the captured subjects in this collection.
