About the exhibition
Welcome to my first ever virtual exhibition: Snowscapes – Landscapes of Luxembourg.
This exhibition will take you from a fairy-tale capital in winter’s grasp to the farthest corners of the country covered in a thick blanket of snow. Grab a blanket, make yourself a hot cup of tea and let me take you on a trip through Luxembourg’s winter wonderland from the comfort of your own home...
Why create a virtual exhibition, rather than a real one?
I have postponed or cancelled half a dozen public events since the second wave of the pandemic hit. I just haven't felt comfortable holding big events and contribute any more than necessary to the spread of a deadly disease. These strange times call on us artists to adapt, and while a virtual event may not come with all the bells and whistles of a real life exhibition, I'd like to treat this just as previous exhibitions: ephemeral, with real artworks and real visitors.
The exhibition will be open to the public for a limited time. After March 19, it will close and be gone. There will also be at least one virtual guided visit, probably through Zoom or a similar platform (more infos about that soon).
All artworks are on display in their true real life size, ranging from small 45x30cm framed fine art prints up to large-scale 180x120cm aluminium prints. Each artwork is available for purchase if you have a 'coup de coeur'.
While this virtual event cannot possibly replace a real exhibition, its virtual nature allows for some surprises (Hint: turn on your sound).

In December 2020, I launched a new bi-annual book series, Landscapes of Luxembourg. The first issue is titled Snowscapes and collects photographs made during past winters in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, many of which are also part of the virtual exhibition by the same name.
