It is with immense pride and joy that I am holding my most ambitious exhibition to date at the Contemporary Art Gallery “Am Tunnel”.
The “Home and Away - Landscapes by Christophe Van Biesen” exhibition really is a dream come true and I am so grateful to Spuerkeess for making this happen! The exhibition features not only many of my pictures made in Luxembourg, but as well from my many trips all over the world! Over 130 pictures printed on large format high-quality aluminium prints will take visitors on a journey through enchanting forests, dramatic coastlines, impressive waterfalls, desert landscapes, international megacities as well as my beloved Luxembourg. Never before have I created an exhibition featuring this many of my images and it’s truly amazing to see so many wonderful memories in one single exhibition.
The exhibition will be on display for six months from October 15, 2019 to April 19, 2020. It is freely accessible to the public during the opening hours of the Contemporary Art Gallery “Am Tunnel”, Mondays to Tuesdays from 9:00 to 17:30 and Sundays from 14:00 to 18:00.

I would be happy to see you at one of the upcoming guided visits of the “Home and Away” exhibition over the next few months.
Guided visits are free of charge. Families are welcome.

Private guided visits
Private guided visits for companies, photography clubs, schools, etc. are also available. If you wish to bring a large group to visit the exhibition, please send me a message and we will find a suitable time and date.
To celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime show I am also publishing a companion book to the exhibition. This book features all images that are on display at the Contemporary Art Gallery “Am Tunnel” as well as pictures of the exhibition itself and texts in English and French about the exhibition’s theme and message. Furthermore the book also includes a foreword by Norbert Nickels, Secretary of the Spuerkeess Executive Committee, now retired.
The book is available for purchase exclusively on my website.
