The Street Photography Luxembourg collective of which I have now been a member since 2013 held its 4th Slide Night on 29th September 2016 at the season opening of the Rotondes in Luxembourg City.
Slide Night 2016
The SPLux collective has been organising its Slide Night every year since 2013. As for previous editions, the members of the collective as well as some guests showed the very best of their work in elaborate slideshows. The slideshows were followed by a musical performance by the group Ice in my Eyes.
The collective also invited all guests to bring their own street pictures in order to create a giant wall of street photography. The result can be seen in the picture below.
Also new: the SPLux collective now offers a set of beautifully made postcards which features the same pictures as the ones used in the exhibition. The set contains 11 postcards and can be acquired on the collective's website.
Exhibition
As part of the event, the collective also put on display an exhibition of large 150x100 cm prints. Every member of the SPLux collective has one of their very best pictures displayed outside the Rotondes.
