Nature’s Claim

The photograph “Nature’s Claim” is a photo montage created by artist Christophe Van Biesen as a creative statement aimed at supporting the preservation of Luxembourg’s natural landscapes. All profits from the sales of this limited edition photograph go to charity and are donated to natur&emwëlt, which protects and preserves the natural environments of the Grand-Duchy.

Initially conceived as part of an elaborate April Fools’ joke, inspired by similar stories from around the world during the lockdown of major cities, this picture of a stag standing proud in front of Luxembourg City’s iconic Philharmonie building serves as a creative message, a symbol even, that nature needs protection! If anything good comes out of the current crisis, it’s that nature is getting a well-deserved break from humanity! Less pollution, less noise, less selfishness toward our planet. The success of this story just shows how many of us believe in this dream!

Nature’s Claim is available as an A5, A4 and A3 limited edition photograph printed on premium quality matte paper. Each size is limited to 100 editions.
