About the book

Luxembourg City through the Seasons is the first photography book by fine art photographer Christophe Van Biesen. The book features images made over the span of 6 years capturing the capital through the various seasonal changes. From the cherry blossoms of spring to the lush green valleys of summer; and from the explosion of colours of autumn to the frost and white snows of winter. The artist has made pictures all over Luxembourg City and has concentrated in particular on the old parts of the city which have become one of his favourite subjects in his photography.

About the fabrication and content of book

This hardcover coffee table book features 80 pictures on over 120 pages. Images are printed on high quality matte 200 gsm paper. The medium size square format for the book was chosen with care to create a book that can be held and browsed easily while leaving ample space for the images. The stitched binding of the book allows for a wide opening which makes double page panoramic images particularly stunning!

Limited collector’s edition

--- SOLD OUT ---

The book is published in two different editions: a standard edition and a limited collector edition.

While the book itself is identical for both editions, the limited edition comes with a few extras. It is elegantly presented in a black custom-sized box. Furthermore it is numbered and limited to 50 editions. The collector’s edition is also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity as well as an 18x18cm fine art print of the artist’s bestselling picture, Rain and Fire. The image is printed on high quality Platinum Baryta 300 fine art paper, which is 100% acid-free with a smooth unglazed gloss surface.  A natural white base and state of the art micro-porous ink receiving layer delivers a high D-MAX and wide colour gamut.  Platinum Baryta 300 reveals delicate highlights and smooth transitions to shadows for both colour and B&W printing. The paper is approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild and when used in conjunction with pigment inks will ensure a print life of more than 85 years.

All books are packaged securely in a cardboard box and shipped worldwide.
